Fixsellr Terms of Consignment

Service Description

You send us your phone using our prepaid shipping label (see Shipping Policy). Fixsellr repairs and sells it on platforms like eBay, splitting the profits after repair costs: 85% to you (the consignor) and 15% to Fixsellr. Payment is sent via bank transfer or Paypal within 7 days of sale.

Shipping

We provide a free Australia Post prepaid shipping label within 24 hours of your consignment form submission. You’re responsible for packaging your device securely in a sturdy box or padded envelope. Fixsellr is not liable for loss or damage during shipping unless you opt for insurance at your own cost.

Phone Condition & Rejection

You must accurately describe your phone’s condition (e.g., Clean, Front Screen Cracked) and provide its IMEI number. We reserve the right to reject phones deemed unrepairable (e.g., severe water damage)—these will be returned to you free of charge or responsibly recycled under Australian e-waste regulations, at our discretion.

Repairs

Fixsellr manages repairs through trusted partners, with costs deducted from the sale price before the profit split. Repairs are intended to maximize resale value, but we do not guarantee specific outcomes or sale prices, as these depend on market conditions and device state.

Payout & Satisfaction

After repairs and sale, the profit (sale price minus repair costs) is split 85% to you and 15% to Fixsellr. Payouts reflect market value and final condition post-repair, which may differ from your expectations. By agreeing to these terms, you accept that the payout amount is final once the phone is sold. If you’re dissatisfied with your payout, you may contact support@fixsellr.com.au within 7 days of payment for a review. As an economical resolution, we may offer a $10 credit toward a future consignment (at our discretion), but no additional payments or refunds will be issued unless Fixsellr fails to repair or sell as promised (see Liability).

Liability

Our liability is limited to the consignment process (repair and sale). We’re not responsible for pre-existing damage, unsold phones beyond return/recycling, or market-driven payout variations. If we fail to repair or sell your phone as agreed (e.g., due to our error), we’ll return it free of charge or negotiate a fair resolution. Your ACL rights apply for any faulty repairs if we later sell directly to consumers.

Termination

You may cancel your consignment before repairs or sale begin by emailing support@fixsellr.com.au. If your phone has already shipped to us, return shipping is at your cost. We may terminate this agreement if you breach terms (e.g., provide false information), with your phone returned or recycled at our discretion.

Agreement

By ticking “I agree to the Consignment Agreement” and submitting your phone, you fully accept these terms, including the finality of payouts. This agreement is governed by Australian law, and any disputes fall under its jurisdiction.
